The warmer weather is here! After a long winter here in NJ, it’s wonderful to see the flowers and trees starting to bloom. I have my windows open, I have Whitney Houston playing, and the Cherry Blossoms are blowing flowers my way. This was supposed to be an ad for renewing your brand, but I hate trying to make everything into a sales pitch. If you feel like adding some texture, some layers, or something a little more dynamic I’d love to help. In the meantime Whitney is calling my name and I definitely wanna dance with somebody.

I do my best to not use AI my professional designs. It’s almost impossible to avoid it completely at this point as it has been completely baked into all Adobe programs. For example using Photoshop tools to remove backgrounds and mask pieces of an image is now all done with AI. It’s frustrating because manual use leads to happy accidents, human imperfection, and learning new things. It is a powerful tool and also a whole lot of fun to play with, but I am committed to creating designs that are handmade. From hand painting backgrounds to painting manually in Photoshop, I feel that AI simply cannot create on a human level. Additionally, I have many ethical concerns about other artist’s work being fed to AI systems without any regard for copyright and no compensation.
